Happy birthday Sue

Today we celebrated Sue's birthday with a little shopping trip down in Old Town Mazatlan. We each indulged in a few little trinkets and Sue brought some gifts for her family back in Canada.

This photo was taken at lunchtime at the Water's Edge Bistro where we had fabulous salads, a rarity for Mexico where the vegetable accompaniments are most often rice and beans.

Sue is wearing her new necklace here, purchased from an artist who creates individual pieces.

It's unbelievable how hot and muggy it is in Mazatlan this week.  Harry met a fellow who's been here for the past five years and says this winter is the warmest and most humid he's experienced.

We are liking it but there's a need to cool off. Today it was by showering; tomorrow it will be by swimming at Stone Island.
