Still no internet but I'm trying to get it sorted out. The house is lovely, spacious and even a bit grand. The floors are that kind of marble chip material that's easy to keep clean and the master bedroom has a big walk-in closet and a king size bed. (We've never had either of these luxuries before!)
Here are a few photos to give you an idea.
The dogs are doing so well. They're very happy to be off the road at last and are romping up and down the stairs. Maggie for sure recognized Mazatlan. When we headed towards the beach she was beside herself with excitement. Already she's made some friends there with her ball games. Geordie's a little less certain. He's not fond of the parachutes or the big waves but he's gradually getting used to it.
We're making the house our own and stocking up. We've met a few people already and tomorrow we're heading down to el centro to pick up some tickets for upcoming events at the Angela Peralta theatre. Apparently they put on The Nutcracker and a Christmas extravaganza there and we don't want to miss out.
Cross your fingers for me in getting online at our house. I can't spend all my days hanging out at the coffee shop, no matter how pleasant it is.
Wish I were there...
