The first leg of our trip was a short one. Just hopped on the ferry and came over to stay with our friend Kath in Vancouver. The weather is abysmal--rain and mist and cold wind. We went out for dinner last night with my brother and his family, then today took son Jamie grocery shopping and spend a quiet day in front of the fire. Time to light some warm autumn candles and prepare for dinner. Aren't these lovely on a rainy day? Tomorrow we'll head over the border.
my little bruvver lives in van. he loves it although he says you really have to learn to appreciate rain. have a safe crossing. steven

ReplyDeleteIt's rainy, cold and wet here at home too. We are also looking forward to enjoying some nicer weather soon. Joanna, remember the hot air balloons in Del Mar? I've almost got Mark convinced to do that next week. If you guys are in the neighbourhood, maybe we could go together?
