Summer sky above Beacon Hill
For Skywatch Friday I'm presenting this photo of the sky above Beacon Hill across from the Juan de Fuca Strait in Victoria, Canada. Beacon Hill isn't very high but there is a road that winds us to the top and a shelter with a flagpole. For some reason they don't fly a flag there though.
We've had a few cloudy days and yesterday afternoon as I was driving by I saw the weather change happening in the sky. The clouds got all puffy and allowed the summer sky back in. It's great to have the summery weather back just in time for our music festival weekend.

Love it when the clouds are just there to help paint a pretty picture, and not to mess up the day. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really pretty sky; especially with that hillside.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely sky. It makes me think of the countryside and open spaces. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky! Nice to see the clouds parting. We are back into summer too after several days of rain.
