Macro Monday -- Forest Pansy

These are a couple of photos of the lovely Forest Pansy tree in my front yard.  This time of year the heart shaped leaves turn such brilliant reds and golds that it takes my breath away.

    I've never heard of a pansy tree before....but it must be outstanding in dazzle!!! Wow.

    I too have never heard of a Forest Pansy tree but the leaf looks familiar I think...

    I've only read about these trees...and now I want one. I think I'll have to settle for your lovely photo, though. Aren't the colors amazing?
