It's been cold



 So cold that the ocean froze in the harbour at Cowichan Bay...

 Cold enough that there were frost flowers on the plants  (this rarely happens here)...



So cold that the frost decorated the old motorcycle parked on the wharf.

It was fun for a few days, but now it's back to our normal west coast rainforest weather:  dripping trees, splashing puddles and silvery rain.

    Doesn't frost and cold just transform the landscape? Your photos are so artistic - I love the old motorcycle.

    I love the way you wrote so everyday normal..."It's been cold" is a slight misnomer ?
    when the Ocean freezes it is really freezing cold !
    I love the picture of motorcycle and secretly want it parked in my nice warm studio !

    We had some "cold" weather, it snowed at my home melted as it hit the ground but we are back to our normal now. Thank Goodness.
