Ruby Tuesday Tulips
The hazy clouds made the light pretty good for capturing these tulips--all in ruby tones. Well red tones I guess, since I don't really know exactly what colour ruby is. I love tulips. They're so bold and elegant. It was a treat this morning really looking at the different tones in these tulips. I can't decide which one I like the best.

I love tulips, too. They're so straight, almost martial, in the garden. Then, as a cut flower, their stems droop and twist in such a sinuous way. I love that bergundy and yellow one.
What sweet Ruby Tuesdays (btw, I think ruby is red but must confess that I don't know for sure either ;) All great photos but the one I like best is the one of the yellow edged tulips. That's divine!
