F - fire

Fire is a potent image and that's what I told my husband the other night as he was laughing at me while I took photographs of the fireplace.  It was as good an excuse as any that night to explain my camera obsession.

These are some of the results.

They reminded me of the time I used a fire image in an art class I took some years ago.  We were to create a cigar box that represented our self.  This is what I came up with--an exterior in deep blue with a little searching figure, but when the box was opened there was a big fire inside.

 Maybe that explains why I'm still fascinated by flames.
